A long tradition has been for Lingyin Temple to distribute Laba porridge and it is no exception this year. On November 26, 2016, the Third Yunlin Cup Go Tournament for University Students in Zhejiang took place in Zhejiang Gongshang University. During the three-day activity, Buddhist disciples had the chance to experience the life in Buddhist temples with tolling bells and beating drums in the morning and evening. On October 28, 2016, the 9th day of The Precept Transmission Dharma Assembly at Qita Temple, Abbot of Lingyin Temple Ven. On September 15, 2016, Lingyin Temple held a tea ceremony to celebrate the 2016 Mid-autumn Festival.
